🏡 Real Talk About Real Estate

Coming to you in my pajamas, with no makeup, and it’s almost bedtime... 😅 I figured I’d knock out one more thing on today’s to-do list before calling it a night. Sometimes “done” really is better than “perfect.”

Welcome to what I hope will become a series where I share the side of real estate that most people don’t get to see.

This first video is the story of how I got into real estate in 2020—and how quickly I realized that earning a license and building a business are two very different things.

Like any career, there have been challenges, unexpected lessons, and plenty of moments that stretched me. Along the way, this business has helped me become more confident, but it’s also taught me patience, how to communicate more effectively, the importance of staying humble, and how to better manage my emotions when things don’t go as planned.

One lesson stands out above the rest: Real estate has taught me that I can’t control every outcome, but I can control how prepared I am, how I treat people, and how I show up every day.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to become a Realtor, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch.

And if you’re in the real estate industry—or really, any profession—I’d love to hear from you:

What’s one lesson your career has taught you that you didn’t expect? 👇
