This is a question I have been getting a lot lately. I’ve had many friends and customers confused about using Realtors when purchasing a home/townhome/condo. A lot of buyers think that in order to use my services to help them purchase a home, they have to pay me out of their own pocket to get my help. That they’ll lose money by using me as a Realtor when they go to look for homes and purchase. In fact, It’s the complete opposite. If you are a buyer, it will NEVER cost you a dime to get help from myself or any other Realtor for that matter. As Realtors, we are compensated by the seller of the home you are purchasing. From start to the closing table, our services to you as a buyer are completely, 100% free. Every time. I’ve recently had a lot of friends and customers find themselves with major confusion, losing out on the house that was meant for them, or lose thousands of dollars in earnest money because they did not have experienced guidance looking over contracts or keeping a timeline. We live in an era where people want to do things on their own, but why pass up FREE professional help so that none of these mistakes happen? We want to help you, that’s why we chose this career and it costs nothing for you to have us do so. It’s difficult seeing people in my sphere who I have continuously kept up with over the years go out and make serious mistakes by trying to do it on their own and making things difficult for themselves. The truth is, the process of purchasing a home is one of the easiest and greatest investment you can make — if you have the proper guidance. Don’t make it difficult, and don’t think that you ever have to pay your Realtor to help you buy a home. That will never be the case. Here are a few examples of how I as a Realtor can make life easier for you:
Need a loan and don’t know a lender? Instead of finding a random, untrusted lender off of google, I can connect you with multiple options of trusted, friendly lenders who have never failed my clients and gotten them to the closing table every time.
Instead of browsing random, outdated home search websites that get you in the door late, I will personally send you new homes minutes after they hit the market, everyday. This way you don’t miss out on the home that was meant for you.
Are you over spending on the purchase of your home and don’t even know it? I will personally go to bat for you and negotiate the best possible purchase price. Saving you thousands.
Are you letting unfixed repairs go, trusting in random inspectors, causing you tens of thousands of dollars after you close that you are now responsible for? I will personally recommend trusted home inspectors to do a thorough inspection of the home you are purchasing. Leaving the seller responsible for the repairs before we close.

The list goes on. I make these points to let you all know that you don’t have to do it alone, make a mistake, and regret not using a Realtor for free. I see it happen all to often.
