Well folks, it's time to have that talk again...

Recently, some of our local mother deer have been 'dropping' their fawns off while they forage and run mother deer errands. Sometimes, these fawns are being left near heavily visited areas such as the Visitor Center or trail heads.

Just a reminder, these deer ARE NOT abandoned and ARE NOT in danger. Please keep a safe distance and do NOT attempt to move or otherwise rescue the baby. Touching/handling the babies could injure them and moving them could prevent mom from finding them again. Also, this is yet another great reason to keep your pet leashed and under your control at all times!
