Some teams are built. Others are built over decades.

Long before Vineyard Property Management, Kerry, Jennifer, and I worked together in the multifamily industry during the late 1990s into 2010’s. Through market cycles, thousands of resident interactions, challenging properties, and countless lessons, we developed a shared commitment to doing things the right way.

Today, that experience continues at VPM.

Together, our team brings nearly 100 years of combined property management experience. Nikki joined us a few years ago and quickly became an invaluable part of our team, bringing exceptional organizational skills, professionalism, and a fresh perspective that perfectly complements our decades of industry experience.

What makes me most proud isn’t just the years of experience—it’s the character behind it. Every member of our team genuinely cares about our owners, our residents, and one another. We answer the phone. We solve problems. We communicate. We take ownership.

Why I Started Vineyard Property Management

When I started Vineyard Property Management, I wasn’t trying to build the biggest property management company in Atlanta.

I was trying to build the company I wished existed.

Before VPM, I spent years in institutional real estate, managing large apartment portfolios and working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry. During that time, I sat through a presentation that changed my career. The topic was the growing “shadow market” of single-family rental homes. It was clear this segment was going to explode.

But I also saw something else.

Many individual property owners were being treated like account numbers instead of clients. Calls weren’t returned. Problems lingered. Maintenance lacked accountability. And too many companies seemed focused on adding doors rather than taking care of the people behind them.

So we built VPM differently.

We intentionally stayed boutique. We answer the phone. We know our owners by name. We help them make smart business decisions, not just collect rent. We invest heavily in systems that make maintenance more predictable, tenant screening more thorough, and communication more responsive.

Could we grow faster? Absolutely.

But we’ve learned that saying “no” to the wrong fit allows us to say “yes” to serving the right clients exceptionally well.

After more than a decade and hundreds of homes under management, our philosophy hasn’t changed:

Take care of people. Protect their investment like it’s your own. Build trust over transactions.

That’s the company we set out to create—and it’s still the one we’re building every day.

🇺🇸 Freedom Was Never Free. 🇺🇸

This Independence Day, we celebrate more than fireworks, cookouts, and a long summer weekend.

We celebrate an idea—born nearly 250 years ago—that ordinary people should have the right to live freely, pursue their dreams, build a life, raise a family, and create a better future for the next generation.

That freedom came at a tremendous cost. It was secured by courage, defended through sacrifice, and entrusted to each generation to preserve.

At Vineyard Property Management, we’re proud to be a small American business. We’re proud to serve homeowners, families, investors, and communities across North Georgia. And we’re grateful to live in a country where hard work, faith, determination, and opportunity still have the power to change lives.

Today, we honor those who came before us, those who have worn the uniform, and all who continue to serve their communities and strengthen this nation.

May we never take our freedom for granted.
