This has been a hidden issue for many years and everyone seems to believe that it will happen to "someone else"! I know of several fires in homes over my 31 years of Real Estate Sales - so PLEASE check this out and then......CHECK OUT YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM TOO. Usually, any company that handles air duct cleaning in your home......will also clean your dryer vents too! Be safe!
