Celebrating these two beautiful souls today 😇 Congratulations on your first home!
When I first met Mohit and Radhika, we talked about what they were looking for in a home. Like most people, they had their preferred locations, required number of bedrooms, and a few other non-negotiable items. What set these two apart however, is wanting to find a home that was Vastu compliant.
For those of you who don’t know (which was me about 3 months ago) Vastu Shastra are texts on the traditional Indian system of architecture. These texts describe principles of design, layout, measurements, and spatial geometry that a house should have in to be one with nature & promote peace and harmony throughout the home.
I’ll be honest, my first thought was “How the heck are we going to do this? It’s already tough to find a home in this market, but now we are limited to only the homes that face a certain direction and have no toilets in the northeast corner 😨”
We looked at maybe a dozen houses with our measuring tapes and drawing paper. Each time we found one that they liked, I would take measurements while Radhika drew the floor plan and Mohit went through an extensive checklist noting a variety of features about the home. We really made a great team 💁🏼♀️ And what do you know- we found one that worked. The first offer we made was accepted! 30 days later we made it to the closing table and they moved in to their new home 🏠
I am so glad to have had the opportunity to work with these two and experience a part of their culture along the way. This business is not just about selling houses, it’s about building lasting relationships and being a part of life changing moments.
