The March Housing Market Update for Franklin County is out and it is a mixed bag for Home Buyers.

Inventory is up 13% year over year and average time on market is 33 days (across all of Central Ohio). However, 62% of sales in March had 30 days or less time on market. With inflation numbers up, experts are predicting that mortgage interest rates will rise in the months ahead.

The Columbus REALTORS® February Market update is out. It continues to be a seller's market, but rising inventory is a good sign for buyers. Here are a few highlights:

Our consumers need choices, and our REALTOR® members are ready to work hard for their clients. The Columbus REALTORS® January market update for Central Ohio is here! Here are some takeaways:

Central Ohio remains a strong market as median home sales price is up 8.9% YOY and average days on market is 35. High demand areas are still selling in less than a week.

The report notes that there have been increase in inventory over the last six months, which should give buyers some hope heading into the 2024 buying season.

“On average, homes are taking just over a month to sell, but we’re still seeing homes sell in under a week in high-demand areas. With interest rates starting to stabilize and more homes on the market, this is a great time to contact a REALTOR® and consider buying a home.” - Columbus REALTORS® President Scott Hrabcak.
