Ask your Realtor! What is Title Insurance and why do I need it??

Owner’s title insurance lasts for as long as you own the property. Unlike lender’s title insurance, this type of policy solely protects the owner of the property from ownership claims. Unlike other parts of Ohio, if using the Columbus Board or Realtor's purchase contract the seller pays for the title insurance policy.
