5 steps to landing your dream home in a sellers market.

1. Get pre-approved & know your financial starting point. (We have clients who are surprised with their buying power & others who have no intention of maximizing it, either way, you need to know.)

2. Decide on your area & must criteria (be flexible when it's appropriate & firm on items that determine lifestyle).

3. Work with an agent you like. It makes a huge difference when you're spending so much time together.

4. Have your full team established; (lawyer, lender, agent, banker, mover, appraiser & inspector). Your agent can help you get this figured out.

5. Be prepared to make an offer when you see the house that moves you! Do not delay. Have your strategy for the specific house worked out with your agent.

Yessss! That was the answer to the question, will it be worth it?

Should we risk it? Will working together be too costly? Would all our years in design, hospitality & recruiting industries really translate be fulfilling as full time real estate agents?

It was not on our own two (or four) feet though & the work has just begun, but yesssss, it's worth it. Yes, it's awesome and yes, we still practice design, hospitality & recruiting.

Happier today than ever before at work and I smell freedom. Freedom from punching a clock & living out someone else's dream. We work hard for our clients and we love it.
