I’m curious about this one because every buyer starts their search a little differently.

When a new listing pops up on your screen, what’s the very first thing you check?

💰 PRICE — Does it fit the budget?
📍 LOCATION — Is it in the right neighborhood, school district, or close to the places that matter?
🏡 THE HOUSE ITSELF — Do the photos, layout, kitchen, backyard, or overall style make you stop scrolling?

There really isn’t one right answer. ❤️

Some buyers won’t even open a listing if the location isn’t right. Others start with the price. And some see one photo and immediately think, “Okay… I need to see the rest of this house!” 😂

👀 Selling a home in Wylie? Your first week on the market can tell you a lot.

It’s easy to think, “We’ve been listed for a few weeks... why don’t we have an offer yet?” But an offer isn’t the only thing I’m watching when a home first hits the market. 🏡

Those first couple weeks can give us valuable clues.

Are buyers scheduling showings?
Are they spending time looking at the listing online?
What feedback are we hearing after showings?
Are buyers coming back for a second look?
How are they responding to the price and presentation?

All of those little signals help us understand how buyers are reacting to your home.

No offer after a week doesn’t automatically mean panic. It means we look at what the market is telling us and decide whether the strategy needs adjusting. ❤️

Sometimes we stay the course. Other times, the feedback may tell us to revisit the price, presentation, or marketing strategy.

That’s why selling a home isn’t about putting a sign in the yard and waiting. It’s about paying attention, communicating, and making informed decisions along the way.
