Before sending funds for a closing, pause and call your local Capital Title office using a phone number you already know and trust. Confirm the wire instructions directly before you send anything. One quick call could help protect your transaction.

The name your client uses every day may not be the name we need for their closing documents 👀

Nicknames, middle names, previous last names and suffixes can all create questions when the contract, identification and title records don’t match.

A simple tip: confirm your clients’ full legal names early and let the title team know about any differences as soon as possible. For sellers, the name shown in the property’s title records matters too.

It’s a small detail that can help prevent corrections and last minute delays at closing. When in doubt, send the information over and let us help verify it! 🔑
