Christina Fornito, Property Accountant

Christina has always gone above and beyond her normal accounting role to assist me with all of our properties’ utility-related matters. Her time and effort reached new heights recently, when RP signed an exclusive agreement with a Chicago-based firm to manage the thousands of individual common electric and gas accounts we have in our portfolio. Christina spent hours streamlining the needed information by property and creating an access path for the new utility company to easily view the accounts. 30 RP employees took a break from their usual workday to go on a field trip to five of RP’s Market Rate Properites located in the Lehigh Valley. The tour started at Cedar Park Community in Easton then traveled to Linden Lofts in Bethlehem, Cedar Glen and Spring Ridge in Allentown and Macungie Village in Macungie, PA. This upbeat group had the opportunity to tour properties they hadn’t seen before, learn what their colleagues are doing and share ideas.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH for March

Carolyn has hit the ground running since recently joining Highland Park Apartments in Lemoyne, PA. She quickly took the lead with marketing the property through social media, driving increased traffic and building strong connections with local business owners. She has also shared her creative leasing and marketing ideas with our sister properties in the Harrisburg region, helping support their teams as well.

Within her first two months, Carolyn organized the storage units by documenting resident usage, which has generated revenue in storage fees. She also worked alongside our team to develop a plan to maintain the storage areas and helped clear out many abandoned units, creating new opportunities for residents who need storage.

Carolyn’s positive energy, initiative, and teamwork have been phenomenal for both our team and our residents and truly reflect RP’s culture. Thank you Carolyn, for everything you do at Highland Park Apartments!
