🎉 Let’s all give a huge shoutout to James Herman for selling his investment property! 🎉

I’m beyond excited to announce that my friend James has successfully sold one of his Michigan properties! It all started when we met through our mutual friend, Rachel Sonnenberg. James was only in town for a day, and Rachel invited me to join them for sushi. How could I say no to that? 🍣 We hit it off instantly and have been friends ever since!

Fast forward to James' most recent visit, he mentioned he was thinking about selling one of his investment properties. We quickly teamed up and came up with a strategy to help him maximize his profits when he was ready to list. After a walkthrough of the property, I pointed out a few updates he could make to really boost its appeal, and James jumped into action.

He was determined to get the place ready in just two weeks—which sounded ambitious, but James doesn’t mess around! He worked non-stop to make sure everything was perfect. From the gorgeous crown molding to the freshly stained floors, he absolutely transformed the home. It looked stunning, and all his hard work was about to pay off!

Once the property hit the market, it immediately caught buyers' attention. On the very first day of showings, we had 5 agents come through, and we got an offer well above asking price! After chatting with James, it was clear this offer was a perfect fit!

Even though James was back in Indiana during the closing process, we stayed in constant contact, and everything went off without a hitch. We closed right on time!

Congratulations to Grace and Michael Van Vels! 🎉🥳

Let’s all celebrate with them as they’ve just purchased their dream home! This stunning property spans over 8 acres, providing the perfect space for Michael and Grace to grow their family, build their farm, and live out their dreams.

I first met Michael and Grace a few years ago when I helped them buy their first home in Hudsonville. Since then, we’ve stayed in touch, and when they mentioned wanting to move again, I started sending them listings that could potentially serve as the perfect farm. They knew exactly what they were looking for, and we explored many options together—some were promising, some were in rough shape, and some, well… had a bit too much wildlife (looking at you, ticks! ☠️).

After months of searching, we found the one—a home that checked every box. Acres upon acres of farmland, already fenced and ready to go, two massive outbuildings, and a gorgeous house with 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an open-concept living space filled with natural light and plenty of space. It’s the ideal place for both raising a family and starting a farm.

I’m thrilled to announce that Raymond and Carol Hayes have officially closed on their new property! 🥳🎊🎉
Ray and Carol, who live next door to one of our listings, expressed interest in expanding their land. After some great conversations with their daughter Penny, the idea of purchasing the property next door quickly became an exciting reality!

Thanks to Penny's coordination, we were able to secure the property before it even hit the market, and in just a few short weeks, we went from initial talks to closing. Ray, Carol, and Penny are some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and I can’t wait to hear how they’re enjoying the extra space—and see their dogs living their best lives with all that room to roam! 🐕

Exciting News to Share! 🥳🥳🎊

I'm thrilled to announce that my friends Cris and Bridgitte have successfully purchased their new home! They contacted me last month as they were planning their move from New Jersey to Michigan. From the moment we connected, it was clear we were in for an exciting journey. We spent a full day touring homes while they were in town, and by the time we visited the fourth property, they knew it was the one for them. They were so captivated that they decided to skip the last showing entirely and make the offer!

Cris and Bridgitte were determined to make this home theirs. We explored various strategies to craft the perfect offer, and when they finally submitted it, we all anxiously awaited the seller's response. The moment we received the good news, it was time to celebrate! During the inspection process, a few concerns arose, but after some careful negotiations, they were able to save money to address these issues, allowing us to move forward smoothly and close quickly. A huge congratulations to Corey and Jessica Gibbs on the sale of their first home! 🏡 Selling your first home is never an easy decision, but Corey and Jessica made the bold choice to put their family in an even better position for the next chapter of their lives.

Corey and I first connected at the end of June when he was selling the home himself. Right away, I could see how smart and motivated he was. Congratulations to my dear friends, Chasey Nguyen and Javis, on the purchase of their new home! They reached out to me last month to view some properties close to Chasey’s work. In just under a week, they had viewed several properties and had an offer accepted!

Chasey and Javis knew exactly what they wanted in a home. It needed to be close to Chasey’s work and relatively updated to ensure a comfortable and convenient lifestyle as soon as they moved in. Their determined and specific criteria made searching for homes fun and easy for all of us! 🎉🎉Today is a very fun and special day for someone I've had the pleasure of assisting! Congratulations to Jacob on the sale of his beautiful property in Grand Rapids. Jacob has just bid farewell to the home he dearly loved! This sale marks the completion of Jacob's time in Grand Rapids for now, as he has relocated further away to accept a job that he is passionate about.

I had the privilege of meeting Jacob through the Prichard Property team. Ryan had previously worked with Jacob and actually helped him buy this very same home several years ago. Over the years, Jacob has lived in and loved this property, but the time finally came when it made more sense to part with it.

Busy day with back-to-back closings! 🥳🥳

Congratulations to Ryan Prichard and Brittney Prichard! Representing them in the sale of their investment property was an amazing opportunity. This transaction was particularly enjoyable because I worked closely with my team lead, Ryan Prichard, allowing me to showcase my value directly. I gained valuable insights into unique investment properties and managing communications for multiple units on one parcel. I also cherished the opportunity to build relationships with all the tenants. 😁

One of the highlights was seeing everyone benefit. We successfully relocated one tenant to an upgraded unit, Ryan and Brittney sold their property at an excellent price, and the buyer moved into one of the units immediately! 🎉

A huge congratulations to my wonderful friend Lori on the purchase of her new home! Lori reached out to me early this spring to discuss the home-buying process and explore some properties. From our first meeting, it was evident that Lori was determined and focused. As soon as we began our search, she scheduled dozens of showings within the first few weeks. Often times Lori's significant other, Drew would accompany us on these showings as well. It was always awesome having another set of eyes to look things over, and he had a strange knack for knowing right where the laundry shoots would be in these houses. 😂

Lori's perseverance was remarkable, quickly mastering the intricacies of the market, and competing against cash buyers willing to pay significantly above the asking price. She continuously viewed properties and updated her offers to stay financially sensible while remaining competitive. Eventually, we found a home without a set deadline in Lori's ideal neighborhood. It had the perfect amount of space, a charming fenced-in backyard for her dog, and many recent renovations. The only downside was the kitchen layout, which didn't quite meet Lori's needs. Still, we knew we had to pounce on this one before someone else snatched it up! After thorough discussions and negotiations, we quickly submitted an offer before anyone else had a chance to and managed to get her offer accepted, while still securing some funds from the sellers to remodel the kitchen to Lori's vision. A major victory! 🎉🥳

The closing process went smoothly, thanks to the excellent communication from Hantz Investments, Leeanna Gann, and Erica Hendrick.
