Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 15, and join Family Promise of Greene County for our annual Empty Bowl Dinner!

Enjoy an evening of delicious soups, fresh breads, and desserts from local restaurants, along with a silent auction featuring homemade baked goods, themed baskets, gift certificates, and more!

But this evening is about so much more than a good meal. ❤️

Every bowl served helps us continue our mission of providing shelter, support, and hope to families experiencing homelessness right here in Greene County.

Because every child deserves a home, and together, we can help make that possible.

🏡 What does it take to help a family find their way home?

It takes a community. It takes someone willing to prepare a meal. Someone who can help a child with homework. Someone who can share a skill, lend a hand, or give a few hours of their time.

At Family Promise of Greene County, our volunteers and community partners are an important part of helping families move from homelessness toward stability and independence.

And there are so many ways to be involved!

Whether you enjoy cooking, tutoring, working with your hands, organizing activities for children, or simply being there when someone needs encouragement, there is a place for you in this mission.

You don't have to change the whole world to make a difference in someone's world. Sometimes, you just have to show up. ❤️ Because every child deserves a home, and every family deserves a community that cares.

When a family comes to Family Promise of Greene County, our goal is not simply to provide shelter for tonight. It's to help them build a stronger, more stable tomorrow.

At the Schneider House of Hope, families receive more than a place to stay.
🍽️ Meals that bring comfort and nourishment.
📚 Tutoring to help children continue learning and growing.
🤝 Case management and supportive services to help parents take steps toward independence.
🏡 A community of people who believe in their future.

🏡 Because every child deserves a home.

A home is more than four walls and a roof. It's a place where a child can leave their favorite toy on the bed, knowing it will be there tomorrow. A place to finish homework, share a meal with family, and fall asleep feeling safe.

For children experiencing homelessness, those simple moments of stability can mean everything.

At Family Promise of Greene County, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and dream without the uncertainty of where they will sleep tonight.
