YVLA is exploring the possibility of hosting a larger educational seminar/event for our members and the local landlord community — and we want your feedback first.

One event that has been brought to our attention is Limitless Expo, which focuses on:
• Real estate investing
• Market trends & economic outlooks
• Financial literacy & wealth strategies
• Business growth & scaling
• Networking with investors and entrepreneurs

The concept discussed would be a YVLA-hosted educational seminar modeled around these types of topics and speakers, potentially held locally depending on member interest and participation.

Before moving forward, we want to hear from YOU:

👉 Is this something you would be interested in attending as a YVLA member?
👉 What types of topics or speakers would you like to see?
👉 Would you attend a larger paid educational seminar if it brought in high-level speakers and networking opportunities?

Yakima School District Bond – April 28 Ballot

We’ve received several questions from members regarding the upcoming Yakima School District bond proposal.

• Ballots must be submitted by April 28, 2026
• The proposal is for approximately $200 million for school-related projects
• Bond measures are typically funded through property taxes over time, which may impact operating costs for property owners

Additional context:
• Registered voters—including renters—are eligible to vote
• Property taxes are assessed to property owners
• Housing costs can be influenced by overall operating expenses over time

We encourage members to review the full proposal details, including how funds would be allocated and projected tax implications.

More information is available through the https://www.ysd7.org/about/finances/bond-2026 and other public resources.
