Housing Sentiment Inches Higher, Driven by Mortgage Rate Outlook
WASHINGTON, DC – The Fannie Mae (FNMA/OTCQB) Home Purchase Sentiment Index® (HPSI) increased 0.1 points in August to 93.8, another new survey high. Despite five of the six HPSI components remaining flat or decreasing month over month, an increase of 11 percentage points in the net “Mortgage Rates Will Go Down” component drove the index slightly higher. On a year-over-year basis, the forward-looking mortgage rates component is up 35 percentage points.

Q Appraisals Announces Expanded Service Area

Yankton, SD — 07/19/2019 — Kathy Quinlivan of Q Appraisals is now certified to appraise property in the State of Nebraska as a Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser.

In addition to the 10-county area in southeastern South Dakota currently served, Q Appraisals will expand to Knox and Cedar Counties in northeastern Nebraska. Appraisal services include residential real estate value opinions for property owners, attorneys, accountants, banks, and lending institutions.

State-Certified Residential Appraiser is the highest level of residential certification. This requires 200 hours of appraisal education, 1500 hours of supervised experience, criminal background check, national AQB examination, and ongoing continuing education.
