ation process of this multi-family home that overlooks the Hudson River and Palisade cliffs. Since then she documents her daily progress online, including her successes and challenges, and shares old history of the neighborhood that she researches along the way.

houseonpalisade: I do not want to distract from the invasion of Ukraine so instead, I will write directly on the topic: Russia awaits Ukraine's capitulation, a population of 44 million, who are fighting and dying for their freedom. Ukraine is where my family's story begins and where my roots lie. But this is not about Slavic or family affairs, it is about the world’s affairs and our history. Ukraine's defense is critical because without it, 40 million people will have no home or life to return and no amount of humanitarian aid will make up for the destruction and theft of an entire country and its culture. The YouTube link on my profile is replaced with a link to Monobank, Ukraine's digital bank, who funds the National Bank of Ukraine supporting the Ministry of Defense. This website is Ukrainian (.ua) hence why it is not a .com. Despite the immense loss and destruction taking place, Ukrainians will rebuild and regrow their land, reunite families, and neighbors will care and look after each other as if they are blood, but all this depends on having a place to return and call home. Your donation, no matter how big or small, directly impacts the survival of Ukrainian people. Even a dollar counts! Together, we stand for freedom and life no matter the language we speak, the color of our skin, or our birthplace. We are all deserving of a life free of shelling, free of bombing, free of oppression.
