Recent rains in Southern California have brought the first snowfall to the San Bernardino Mountains.

With the long Thanksgiving weekend approaching, many families will be heading up to the mountains and the Big Bear Lake area to enjoy the fresh snow.

A quick reminder:
A new law now requires all drivers to carry tire chains and install them when signs indicate a designated “chain control area.”
Even typically exempt vehicles—such as all-wheel-drive or 4x4 vehicles equipped with snow tires—are still required to carry chains.

Failure to comply can result in fines, and more severe violations may lead to substantial penalties.

I’m sorry to share the news that, after many years of serving the Yorba Linda community, Blue Agave Southwestern Mexican Restaurant has officially closed its doors.

For those of us who enjoyed their warm atmosphere, friendly service, and exceptional cuisine, this is truly the end of an era. George, the owner, consistently created delicious and visually stunning gourmet dishes that set Blue Agave apart. It has been one of my wife’s and my favorite restaurants in Yorba Linda, and we will sincerely miss it.

Thank you to George and the entire Blue Agave team for so many wonderful years and unforgettable meals. You will be missed by countless families in our community.
