When my clients began preparing for a move overseas, we all hoped selling their home would be the easiest part of the transition — and in this case, the stars truly aligned.
Just before listing their home, another agent had shown one of my properties and planned to write an offer, but it went under contract first. I told her I had a similar home coming to the market and would send it her way when it was ready.
When this home officially hit the market, she scheduled the very first showing at 8:00 a.m. on day one. That showing ultimately brought the buyer whose offer we accepted. By the end of the day 2, we had three offers — all above asking price.
