The magic number of home buying 🏡
It’s not just about your credit score — your magic number is what determines how much home you can comfortably afford.

→ Keep your mortgage at or below 28% of your pre-tax income if you have little debt.
→ If you’ve got other payments (loans, credit cards, etc.), aim to keep total debt under 36% of your income.

Example:
If you earn $5,000/month →
• No debt? Mortgage up to $1,400
• With $600 in debt? Mortgage about $1,200

That’s your magic number — the key to owning a home and living comfortably.
