Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Salt & Shine!

Today we’d like to give a special, personal, Father’s Day shoutout to two very important members of our Salt & Shine family.

First, to my dad, John Rogers, our Director of Maintenance. Dad, your hard work, dedication, and willingness to jump in wherever you’re needed help keep Salt & Shine running day in and day out. From handling maintenance emergencies to ensuring our homes are guest-ready, you are the backbone of so much that happens behind the scenes. You continue to show us the value of hard work, integrity, and always showing up for others, and we are so grateful for everything you do for our family, our homeowners, and our team.

We’d also like to recognize my uncle, Jamey Jennison, who recently joined the Salt & Shine team! Your support, positive attitude, and dedication have already made a meaningful impact, and we’re excited to continue growing together as both family and teammates.

Salt & Shine has always been built on family, and today we’re especially grateful for the fathers, father figures, and role models who help guide us both personally and professionally.

Congratulations to our very own Head of Concierge, Katie Pichette and her new husband, Davey! ✨💙

Wednesday was a beautiful day on the Maine coast, and as she always does, Katie made it all happen. 💍🥂

Many of you know Katie as the curator behind our concierge experience at Salt & Shine. She’s the one helping guests discover the very best of coastal Maine, coordinating special touches, sharing local favorites, and turning vacations into lifelong memories.

What you may not know is that she’s also family.

For years, Katie has been such a special part of Salt & Shine and our family business. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care for others shine through in everything she does. Whether she’s helping a guest plan the perfect vacation or supporting our team behind the scenes, she brings warmth, heart, and a little bit of magic wherever she goes.

And while many of our guests know her as our incredible Concierge, we’re lucky enough to know her as family too—our first cousin!

This week, it was her turn to be celebrated.

Not everyone comes to Maine for the beach! 🌲☀️

Some people come for the quiet.

One of our favorite things about helping guests find the perfect vacation home is discovering what relaxation means to them.

⚙️Join the Salt & Shine Maintenance Team 🛠️

For years, John Rogers has been the guy behind the scenes keeping homes, owners, guests, and our team running smoothly.

From troubleshooting maintenance issues to tackling complex projects, he's built a reputation for knowing how to get things done—and get them done right.

As Salt & Shine continues to grow, we're looking for a dependable Maintenance Team Members to work alongside John & the team to learn the ins and outs of vacation rental property maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to expand their skills, and values working with a team that takes pride in what they do.

Position Details
• 2-3 days per week
• Saturdays, on-call Sundays, and one weekday
• Hands-on training and mentorship
• Opportunity to learn maintenance, troubleshooting, property care, and guest service response

We're looking for someone who is:

✓ Positive and professional
✓ Comfortable with physical work and lifting
✓ Interested in learning and growing their skillset
