📣 A York County-based utility is growing across the county line. On Thursday, September 17, The York Water Company announced an agreement with the Paradise Township Sewer Authority to acquire the wastewater treatment and collection system serving Paradise Township in Lancaster County. The deal would add more than 700 wastewater customers and is pending approval from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

York County's August housing numbers are in! 🏡 The REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties reports that York County's median sale price for August came in at $326,000, up 9% from a year ago, while 517 homes sold, the same as last August. Year to date, the median sits at $309,900 (up 6%) with 3,730 homes sold (also up 6%). Buyers, there are more homes to choose from, with 949 active listings compared to 891 last August, but supply is still tight at about two months. RAYAC also reports sellers received 100% of list price, with days on market at 7, so pricing and preparation matter. Pending sales are down 5% from last year, which RAYAC says may signal some moderation ahead, so timing and strategy count. Curious what this means for your street or school district?
