The Emig Mansion is a quaint hotel in an elegant 19th-century mansion set on wooded parkland in the Village of Emigsville, North York, PA. We are a full-service bed and breakfast and also host milestone events onsite. The individually decorated Victorian inspired rooms feature ornate antique furnishings and brass, wrought iron or carved wood beds. Amenities include complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi,

daily newspapers, and a snack, coffee, and tea bar. A hearty homecooked breakfast is provided daily in our elegant dining room, featuring hand-carved mahogany paneling and stained-glass window. The stately gardens include seating at the cement koi pond surrounded by magnolia trees, and a furnished wrap-around veranda. The Emig Mansion has a Civil War history and documented account left by one of the 11 Emig children named Flora of the Confederate billeting of the home and grounds days before the Battle of Gettysburg. Ask to see the working bee-hive oven and onsite jail during your stay!

A new chapter for The Emig Mansion (and no, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke 🙂).

After several wonderful years as a bed & breakfast, we are transitioning away from short-term stays and events.

Moving forward, The Emig Mansion will be offering fully furnished private rooms for extended stays (30+ days).

This shift allows us to provide a quieter, more comfortable living environment for traveling professionals and long-term guests who want something more than a hotel.

If you or someone you know is looking for a furnished place to stay in the York area, feel free to send a message.
