Finished the last 36 miles of the Northville Placid Trail this past weekend! I did 18 miles a day to wrap it up and the total miles in 7 days was 142 (the trail is 136). It was a brutal, exhausting, exhilarating experience and I am already thinking about doing it again....in 2026...... I have my eyes on a 171 mile section of the North Country Trail which is 4600 miles in length. I was blessed with good weather for most of the hike and secured a lean to for 4 of the nights and tent the others. Filtered water from many streams and had no issues. I highly recommend this trail but keep in mind: Spring = massive mud, Summer = massive bugs but long days, Fall = probably the best of all but can be quite rainy. Go take a hike!

Amazing day volunteering for Habitat for Humanity last week! Such a great organization that takes decrepit homes and rehabs them into healthy, livable homes again for deserving families. Such a privilege to be a part of one of their projects!

Had an amazing long weekend in Quebec! Incredible food, great sites, wonderful people and lots and lots of exercise! Picture below is 1000 steps (down and up) and that was just the beginning! fantastic city.......a must see.
