Cindy Yanoscsik is a dedicated and passionate real estate agent with a rich background in the Cytology
Laboratory screening body fluids for cancer cells and in Laboratory leadership. Growing up just
outside of Charleston, WV, on the beautiful Elk River, Cindy developed a love for community and a
strong work ethic early on. As the third child and onl
y daughter in a family with two older brothers,
she learned the value of teamwork and resilience from a young age. She was also a proud band kid and part of her high school's marching band, where they achieved first
place in the state competition. This experience instilled in her a deep sense of discipline, teamwork,
and the joy of achieving shared goals. Professional Background
Cindy’s professional journey began at Riverside Hospital, where she started honing her skills in the
healthcare industry. Over the years, she expanded her expertise working for renowned organizations
like SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories (now SmithKline Glaxo Welcome), Quest Diagnostics,
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. It was during her time in
healthcare leadership that she discovered her knack for problem-solving and excellent customer
service. She received numerous accolades for her ability to resolve complex issues and her unwavering
commitment to excellence in the workplace. Transition to Real Estate
After more than 30 years in healthcare, Cindy ventured into the world of real estate, driven by her
desire to help people find their dream homes. She has been a real estate professional for over four
years, specializing in new construction and assisting baby boomers in downsizing to smaller, more
manageable homes. Her extensive background in leadership and customer service perfectly
complements her real estate practice, allowing her to provide exceptional service to her clients. Personal Interests
When she’s not helping clients navigate the real estate market, Cindy enjoys various hobbies and
interests. She’s also an animal
lover and proud dog owner. Cindy has two wonderful daughters who are grown and married. Her
dream is to retire near them and her future grandchildren, traveling extensively with them and giving
back to those less fortunate. Community Involvement
Giving back to the community is a core value of Cindy’s. She actively supports Animal Aid in
Hampton, Virginia, and Limbo Chihuahuas, a nonprofit in Florida run by her cousin. Additionally, she
is dedicated to supporting local homeless shelters, working to ensure that everyone in the community
has a safe place to call home. These organizations are close to her heart, and she is committed to
