Protect your negotiating power. 🔑

Many homes have doorbell cameras, security systems, baby monitors, or other smart devices these days.

When you find a house you love, it's natural to get excited. But try to save the "I love it!" conversation for once you're back in the car with your agent.
Comments like:
• "This is exactly what we've been looking for!"
• "I can already see us living here."
• "We don't want to lose this one."
might seem harmless, but it's always best to keep your excitement private during a showing.
Once you're back in the car, let it all out! Protect your negotiating power.

If I had let doubt win, I never would have built a successful real estate career. I never would have taken the leap to grow a business, lead a team, or help the amazing families I've had the privilege of serving.
Were there moments I was scared? Absolutely.
Moments I questioned myself? More than once.
But success doesn't come from having all the answers. It comes from taking the next step, even when you're unsure.
Failure may teach you a lesson, but doubt keeps you from ever getting started.

So if there's something on your heart you've been putting off because you're afraid it won't work out, this is your sign to go for it. You never know what God has waiting for you on the other side of that first step. 💛

🏡❤️ Being a Realtor is such a blessing, but it's also important to remember that behind every Realtor is a real person with a real family.
Some days we're negotiating contracts from the baseball field. Some days we're answering messages from the school pickup line. Some days we're juggling client calls, birthday parties, homework, dinner, and everything in between.
We love what we do because helping families find a place to call home is one of the greatest honors. But we're also spouses, parents, children, and friends.
So if there are days when it takes us a little longer to respond than usual, please know we're not ignoring you.
The families we serve are helping us keep a roof over our family's head while we're helping them find a roof to put over theirs. ❤️

These clients started their home search back in September. They are soooo sweet and we found the perfect home for them to build from scratch customizing all the things and in one of my most favorite neighborhoods ever! I’m so excited for this little family to plant themselves here in Va and get to experience beach time, the history, friendships that will last a lifetime and more!
