I found an inspiration photo only and have no idea whose kitchen it is to tag them (please let me know if you know whose kitchen the Christmas inspo pic belongs to) and knew I wanted to make it my own. My kitchen is far from being complete, but baby steps have taken it from the brown blah, to becoming my dream kitchen and I’m so proud of the work I have done so far 🥰

I’m loving having my babiest sister here helping with DIYs. Today was the day for shiplapping the hallway. I have been wanting to get this done for so long and am so glad it’s done. One DIY done, endless DIYs to go 😂

Last year, my sister and I switched out the front door for a door with windows to bring in some natural light. The other day I decided it was time to paint the door to add a little pop to the front of the house and then I decided to paint the inside too 😍 And while I was showing you the beauty, I decided to show you how it is as well! I always have a project or two…..okay fine, ten projects going on at the same time and in this corner, it’s reframing the front door and closet and changing the closet doors. What do you think of my pink door? Is your front door painted a fun color?

My favorite part about being a girl mom…Viktoria loves flowers as much as I do 🥰 She’s gonna be so excited when she gets home today and sees her flowers ❤️

Today was such a beautiful day. It was 58 degrees and the sky was perfection! We met some doggy friends at the beach and one swam after a toy. It was such a perfect unexpected afternoon ❤️

How it started, how it ended!

I took down the upper cabinets, shiplapped the walls, added shelves, put up a light, reframed and properly insulated the kitchen window and patio doors, built an island, painted the tile floors, added a door to the office, replaced my fridge (planning to build a cabinet above the fridge) and more.

Btw, I’m still working on the door that I added to the office, so excuse that unfinished project.

I have only finished two of the shiplap walls in the kitchen and plan to finish the other two this coming year, but this is something I’m doing slow and steady and all on my own.

This is a great list to help purge things in your home 🏡

THE TOXINS OF THE HOUSE ARE:
1. Objects You No Longer Use.
2. Clothes You Don't Like Or Haven't Used In A While. Damaged underwear.
3. Broken Things.
4. Old cards and notes.
5. Plants that are dead or sick.
6. Receipts and Old Magazines.
9. Shoes Broke.
7. Stuff of all kinds calling the past.
8. If you have children, toys that are not used, that do not work or broken.
WITH CLEANING THEM OUT:
1. Health gets better.
2. Creativity grows.
3. Relationships get better.
4. There is greater reasoning capacity.
5? Improved mood.

QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT HELP CLEANSING:
- Why am I saving that?
- Is it about me today?
- How will I feel if I release that?
Separate and classify:
1. To donate.
2. To throw.
3. To sell.
INSIDE CLEANING REFLECTED OUTSIDE.
1. Avoid extreme noises.
2. Less strong lights.
3. Less saturated colors.
4. Less chemical odors.
5. Less sad memories.
6. Finish unfinished projects.
7. Cultivate positive energy in your home.

Do a general cleaning and use boxes for organization. Start with drawers and cabinets and conclude each piece, do everything at your pace...
a) Trash.
b) Arrangements.
c) Recycling.
d) In doubt.
e) Gifts.
(f) Donation.
g) Sell.

As you CLEANSE, watch what changes in you.
As we clean our physical house, we also place order to our mind and heart.
Practice detachment with material things that just fill your space and you'll see how you'll slowly be able to do the same with more momentous situations.

Some gave all, all gave some. Taking a moment to thank those who gave all for our freedom, but as Ashton Creates says in her picture that she created below, thank you will never be enough. Please take a moment to remember those that died for us and our freedom. I would like to take a moment to remember my childhood friend Travis Griffin.
