Multigenerational housing is making a comeback! 🤯

Throwing it all the way back to thee 1940s during the Great Depression, many families would have multigenerational houses to save some money. Once World War II occurred, the multigenerational house trend mostly came to an end and remained that way for quite some time.
Then COVID changed some things!

Due to the pandemic, the multigenerational housing trend made a great comeback. According to the article attached, “The numbers back that up, as reported by the National Association of REALTORS®. In 2020, 15% of US buyers opted for a multigenerational home.”

A new trend that we can look forward to in warmer months! 🌞

Since COVID has caused many to limit the number of people inside at a time, more and more businesses are looking outside!

We have been seeing more restaurants expand their outdoor seating areas by adding patios or even rooftop seating.

It will only be a matter of time before offices and other commercial buildings think of a way to expand their outdoor areas to accommodate to their workers.
