Burgan Real Estate was established on August 20th, 1977 by John Burgan and Leon Turek. This was a significant date for the Mahoning Valley as it was exactly 30 days before the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company announced that they were going out of business. Because of the high inflation and the resulting high interest rates, many local businesses did not survive. By maintaining the highest standards
of integrity, honesty, and transparency, Burgan survived and thrived and grew into one of the area's most successful, independent brokerages. Today, Burgan Real Estate continues to uphold its high standards under new leadership. Patrick Burgan and Sue Filipovich are both the children of the original founders, John and Leon making Burgan Real Estate a true 2nd Generation, family owned company.
