Feather River Elite is thrilled to host this year's Salmon Run! All proceeds will go towards helping our community athletes. Join them for a 3K Color Fun Run along the Feather River, starting at the amphitheater in Riverbend Park and ending at Centennial Park. Participants will follow the bike path along the river, and there will be multiple color stations along the way where participants will be showered with colorful powders and colored slime.

Here are the details:

📆WHEN: Saturday September 26, 2026
💲COST: Pre-Registered $35/Adult & $15/ Child or a Family Pass $90 (4 runners). (On-site Registration after is $45 )
📍WHERE: Start at the Amphitheater in Riverbend Park located at 60 Montgomery Street, Oroville
⏰PRE-EVENT CHECK IN: Friday September 25,2026 from 8:30am-1:00pm at 2738 Feather River Blvd
⏰CHECK IN: 7:30AM at Riverbend park Amphitheater
🏃RUN: 8:00AM
📍FINISH: Centennial Plaza located at 1800 Arlin Rhine Memorial Dr. Oroville (Shuttle service will be available between the Salmon Festival and Riverbend Park)

An Update About Lights of Hope 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we let you know Lights of Hope will not be happening this Christmas season. Due to the significant staffing and logistical demands required to host an event of this size, along with the increased risk of unfavorable winter weather this year, we have made the difficult decision not to hold Lights of Hope this year. We know how many families look forward to this event each year, and we share your disappointment in not being able to celebrate this special tradition with our community this Christmas.

Over the years, thousands of families have joined us to make memories, spend time together, and experience the joy and hope of the Christmas season. We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer, partner, sponsor, and guest who has helped make Lights of Hope what it is.

While we will miss celebrating Lights of Hope with you this Christmas, we sincerely hope to bring it back in the future. In the meantime, The Father’s House remains committed to loving and serving our community.
