This is simply a reminder of how important it is to shop local whenever we can.

That means supporting our farmers markets, locally owned restaurants, family businesses, and even larger companies like BareBones WorkWear that choose to operate a storefront and employ people right here in our community.

Over the years, I’ve watched far too many businesses in our area close their doors because they couldn’t compete with big-box retailers and Amazon. Online shopping may be convenient, but we’re also beginning to see what we lose when our local stores disappear.

There is real value in being able to walk into a store, hold something in your hands, feel the material, try it on, ask questions, and leave with exactly what you need. Once those stores are gone, they’re incredibly difficult to bring back.

Could I purchase these same shirts online? Absolutely.

But I choose to purchase them here in my hometown because I want businesses like BareBones to remain successful, keep local people employed, and continue serving our community.

Some agents hate putting out Open House signs. Honestly? I actually enjoy it.

It gives me a chance to get out of the office, walk through the neighborhood and talk to people. Almost every time I’m setting up signs, I run into someone I know—or meet someone new—and end up having a conversation right there at the crosswalk.

Sometimes the most memorable and impactful part of an Open House isn’t what happens inside the house. It’s the people you connect with along the way.

Another Saturday. Another Open House. Still hustling. 💪🏡

When we started looking out in Plumas Lake and Edgewater for this particular client I told him, "We must get you a fantastic deal. There's so much inventory out here, we just need to make sure we workout something excellent for you" And thats EXACTLY what we did!

Not only were we able to get and almost $20,000 solar system paid off for them at close of escrow, but we were able to secure maximum seller credits so this particular client was able to come out of pocket with very little funds. This House had such a tremendous response when we listed it, that I was almost bummed out when my seller wanted to accept the offer. Haha!!! Selfishly I wanted to drag it out a little bit longer. LOL.

No but in all seriousness, I was extremely happy for my seller that he was able to receive such a wonderful offer on this house so quickly. He is such a good friend of mine, and been so supportive for so long, so it was a real treat to be able to take care of this so swiftly for him. I love selling in Live Oak
