Went to bathe Butters today…smelling a bit funky. Me playing Edward Scissorhands…fur everywhere! It was a simple plan give the dog a bath. I needed to check out his surgery site on his butt. When I lifted his tail up to get a look, his tail looked and felt really odd. His tail has something going on. That’s not good. I think that’s about the only way I can explain it. So I decided that I needed to really check out the rest of his body. So I started trimming around his face and found a hard tumor on his nose, which is new. he’s got a number of those sores we were treating last December and on top of that a few of his liver spots have have turned into something else. Of course, none of it is a good sign. He hasn’t really been eating well the last 2 to 3 weeks. And it’s not getting better.

So after trimming around his face, I just started cutting his hair, this is where we stopped a bit ago. He needed a break. After I finish this post, we’re gonna start the bath.

But I’m freaking out again. I sent pictures to his surgeon. And I’ve got to get back up to Placerville ASAP. It’s been 46 days since his surgery.

I asked everyone before and I’m asking again. Say a prayer say many prayers.
