I didn’t expect to get emotional visiting a horse ranch… but I did. 🐎

At Cascade Trails Mustang Sanctuary, I met horses that were once wild or unwanted and are now being cared for and retrained with so much heart. We heard their stories, fed the animals (bring apples and carrots!), and just slowed down for a minute in the desert.

If you’re ever near Joshua Tree … this place stays with you.
