When Selling a House Doesn't Go As Planned | What Sellers Need to Know

In this video, I'm sharing the story of a current sale that has had a few bumps along the way. We've been under contract more than once, and the buyer has had some difficulties with financing. The important thing is that this really isn't anyone's fault.

Sometimes things happen during a real estate transaction that are simply outside everyone's control.

As a listing agent, there are a lot of things I can control—and a lot that I can't. What I can control is how I respond to problems, how I communicate with my sellers, how I work with the other parties involved, and how hard I work to keep the transaction moving toward the closing table.

We've had to jump through some hoops, make adjustments, solve problems, and do what needed to be done. That's part of selling real estate.

I wanted to make this video because I think it's important for sellers to understand that even when you do everything right, a sale can still have unexpected challenges. The goal isn't to pretend those things don't happen. The goal is to have an agent who knows how to work through them.
