At this year’s Masquerade of Giving, we had the incredible privilege of honoring Cheri Weaver, Executive Director of Wings Special Needs Community and our 2026 Honorary Gala Chairwoman.
What began in 2002 as a question—“What happens to our children when we’re no longer here?”—has grown into a thriving, life-changing organization serving more than 90 members and impacting hundreds of lives each year.
Under Cheri’s leadership, Wings has expanded programs, strengthened community partnerships, and achieved national accreditation—becoming the only NCASES-accredited program for adults with IDD in central Oklahoma.
But beyond the milestones, Cheri’s true impact is seen in the lives she touches daily—creating a space where individuals are celebrated for their abilities, friendships flourish, and confidence grows.
