It has been several of the most difficult and interesting closings in all my career! One thing after another was delayed or just "messed" up! But after much hand-holding, encouraging talks and many, many phone calls to various institutes, I'm happy to say that two new families are in their new homes! (Well, after the funds were wired to the last closing company this morning!) :-P

In real estate, you have to willing to be flexible - willing to go with the flow. We were supposed to have four closings today: back, to back, to back, to back . . . Everything came to a halt because of a delayed report, but the first one was still scheduled to close. One piece of paper! Just one, and that one is on hold too.
We might be okay with the delays, but its our clients who have to bare the brunt of having no place to call home and living in chaos until it happens. And it will happen, its just makes realtors crazy that they can't make things go faster.
