Things I Tell My Clients on a Daily:

1. When I say scammers are real, it's because scammers are real.
2. All communication should be in person, or initiated by YOU!
3. The only three people that you need to communicate with about your closing are your lender, your closing coordinator, and me. That's it.
4. And those wiring instructions? Never, and I mean never, trust an email. Even if it looks like it's coming from a trusted source. Pick up the phone, call, and personally verify the information with your lender or closing coordinator.
