Homeowners, here is the FIRST thing you should do when you get home tonight:

Make a video walkthrough of your own home, highlighting every major appliance or expensive item in your home.

If your home gets damaged in a fire or flood, you must provide your insurance company with an itemized list of EVERYTHING in your home that needs to be replaced. Make, model, year, brand name, etc.

Depending on the extent of the damage, this task can be incredibly difficult and overwhelming.

Trying to recall the make and model of your toaster or every single pair of shoes you own without having them in front of you is not easy. Having all of this on video is a great way to help you identify what items need to be replaced, as well as help with proof of ownership.

This 10-15 minute video can save you countless hours, and thousands of dollars, should something happen.

It is a good idea to do this yearly as you make home upgrades or purchase new appliances.

Alright, friends, I'm officially adding a new title to my job responsibilities.

Professional Child Taxi Service 🚕. Seriously, between the camps, practices, and all the "Mom, can you take me..." requests, my days are starting to look a lot like a rideshare route map.

The funny thing is, real estate and motherhood have a lot in common, and thanks to my busy real estate schedule I've become really good at problem solving, flexibility, patience, and the ability to pivot at a moment's notice.

Answering calls from the carpool line, sending emails between drop-offs, and showing homes while coordinating kid schedules is just another day for me. Just know I'm doing what so many working parents do this time of year: make it work.

And while my passengers may not tip, they do occasionally say "thanks," which is worth even more. ♥️

All motorized watercraft—including boats, jet skis, eFoils, and motorized paddleboards—must pass an Aquatic Invasive Species inspection before launching on Lake Tahoe.

Inspection locations include:
- Meyers (South Shore)
- Spooner (East Shore)
- Alpine Meadows (North Shore)
Be sure to schedule your inspection ahead of time to avoid delays!

Helping people through life's transitions is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

When the seller of the Glorene home first called me, we met at the property, where he shared stories of the home he had lovingly lived in for many years while raising his family. Now, he was preparing for an exciting new chapter—moving across the country to be closer to his son.

My goal was to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. From arranging a PODS container for his move to completing every document the old-fashioned way with pen and paper because he didn't own a computer, I was happy to help every step of the way.

In the end, everything came together beautifully. He received the price he was hoping for, and a wonderful young couple now has the opportunity to put down roots in Tahoe and create memories of their own in a home that has already been filled with so much love.

These are the moments that remind me real estate is about so much more than buying and selling homes—it's about helping people move confidently into their next chapter.
