When it comes to moving in and shipping out, the Tracy Ridings family has done it all. Her family of 7 has moved ten times, adding children and pets along the way. She has been a renter, a homeowner, and a landlord. The old saying “been there – done that” rings true for Tracy. As the anchor of a Navy family, she knows what it takes to run a ship-shape household while her husband served in the Midd

le East. Now that he retired, she wants to help others who have had to pick up their families and relocate – buying and selling their homes along the way. Once Tracy had to move suddenly while her husband was overseas. She had to put their house on the market with four kids under the age of four! Another move led the Ridings family to purchase a home in 2005 at the top of the market. It wasn’t too long before the market tanked and they were transferred again. That was a financially challenging move that taught Tracy how fickle the housing market can be. Tracy remembers her first home buying experience and the vital role the agent played. Her husband was deployed and she oversaw the buying of their first house. With her agent’s help, she purchased the house (site unseen by her husband) and she managed the move before his return. She fondly remembers the agent who walked her through each step of the transaction. The agent was patient, an excellent listener, educator, and negotiator. These traits have become the cornerstone of her focus as she helps others – especially first-time homebuyers. She had friends and family help her along the way. But she also learned how important a smart realtor is and how they can make a tough situation so much better. She learned a “servant’s heart” is needed when helping others buy and sell something so personal – a home. Tracy has been called to help families relocating to the Indianapolis area. As you can imagine, she has a special place in her heart for military families and first-time homebuyers. Her servant’s heart is felt immediately and appreciated by many who are looking to relocate here in Indiana. She knows that every move has a story and she wants that story to end happily ever after for you.

This was such a meaningful day — bringing knowledge from my profession to help women find answers, clarity, and support during one of life’s hardest transitions.

Our next Divorce Survival Workshop is in June. Hopefully no one you know ever needs it, but if someone you care about is anywhere in the process — from contemplation to completion — we’re here to help. Sometimes that means helping couples avoid divorce altogether. Other times, it means helping someone prepare so they aren’t left navigating confusion, fear, and uncertainty alone.

We've spent the last few days reflecting on the incredible women who filled the room at our Divorce Survival Workshop.

To every woman who showed up to be supported, encouraged, and strengthened… thank you. Your willingness to step into a space of growth is what made the day so meaningful.

And to our workshop leaders, your preparation, your heart, and your commitment to serving this community were felt in every moment. You created a space where women could breathe, connect, and feel less alone.
