Beach traffic looks a little different at Hansen Bay. 🐐

Goats are among the nonnative animals you may encounter roaming St. John — sometimes along roads and hillsides and, apparently, sometimes while you're enjoying a quiet stretch of shoreline.

They're part of the everyday unpredictability that makes life here interesting, but they're still wild animals. The National Park Service advises people not to feed or approach roaming goats, donkeys and other wildlife.

We'll take this kind of traffic jam any day.
