Fake marriage mafia in Gilgit-Baltistan: The growing business of ruining daughters
A dangerous social disease has been spreading rapidly in Gilgit-Baltistan for the past few years. In the name of marriage, a few brokers have made a disgusting business of playing with the lives of innocent girls. These people, through filtered photos and false claims of laborers and unemployed people from Mansehra, Punjab and other areas, present themselves as rich or businessmen and landlords and force poor families to give marriages through deception.
The most heartbreaking example is that innocent girl from Ganchhe who was married to a Mansehra man for a commission of three lakhs. After two weeks, she was abandoned like a used item. Neither the goods were returned, nor was she divorced… On the contrary, this shameful condition was set that you find another girl for me to marry, then I will divorce you.
Similarly, a girl was married off by the same mafia in Chitral by pretending to be rich, but when the truth came out, the person turned out to be completely unemployed—neither working nor taking responsibility. In another case, the girl was handed over to a man who was incapable of marrying her through a fake profile.
The latest and most saddening example of these incidents is the young girl from Khulwa who was married off through false promises and false stories. After some time, she was divorced, and today that innocent girl is breathing her last breath in her father’s house, mentally broken, lifeless. Her condition seals the fact that this mafia does not just take commission—it ruins the lives of entire families.
All these cases are screaming that an organized business is going on in the name of relationships in Gilgit-Baltistan, where pimps play with the fate of daughters for a commission of just a few lakhs. There is a need for the administration and law enforcement agencies to take immediate and strict action, make verification of external relationships mandatory, and completely prohibit any relationship deal without consultation with elders at the village level. ت بلتستان میں جعلی شادی مافیا: بیٹیوں کو برباد کرنے کا بڑھتا ہوا کاروبار
گلگت بلتستان میں گزشتہ چند سالوں سے ایک خطرناک سماجی بیماری تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہے۔ شادی کے نام پر چند دلالوں نے معصوم بچیوں کی زندگیوں سے کھیلنے کا گھناؤنا کاروبار کر رکھا ہے۔ یہ لوگ مانسہرہ، پنجاب اور دیگر علاقوں کے مزدوروں اور بے روزگاروں کی فلٹر شدہ تصاویر اور جھوٹے دعووں کے ذریعے خود کو امیر یا تاجر اور جاگیردار ظاہر کرتے ہیں اور غریب خاندانوں کو دھوکے سے شادیاں کرنے پر مجبور کرتے ہیں۔
سب سے دل دہلا دینے والی مثال گانچھے کی وہ معصوم لڑکی ہے جس کی شادی مانسہرہ کے ایک شخص سے تین لاکھ کمیشن کے عوض کر دی گئی۔ دو ہفتوں کے بعد اسے استعمال شدہ چیز کی طرح چھوڑ دیا گیا۔ نہ سامان واپس کیا اور نہ ہی اسے طلاق دی گئی… الٹا یہ شرمناک شرط رکھی گئی کہ تم میرے لیے دوسری لڑکی تلاش کرو، پھر میں تمہیں طلاق دوں گا۔
اسی طرح چترال میں اسی مافیا نے ایک لڑکی کو امیر ہونے کا بہانہ بنا کر بیاہ دیا، لیکن جب حقیقت سامنے آئی تو وہ شخص بالکل بے روزگار نکلا، نہ کام کرتا ہے نہ ذمہ داری۔ ایک اور کیس میں لڑکی کو ایک ایسے شخص کے حوالے کر دیا گیا جو جعلی پروفائل کے ذریعے اس سے شادی کرنے سے قاصر تھا۔
ان واقعات کی تازہ ترین اور افسوسناک مثال خولہ کی نوجوان لڑکی ہے جس کی شادی جھوٹے وعدوں اور جھوٹی کہانیوں کے ذریعے کی گئی۔ کچھ عرصے بعد اس کی طلاق ہوگئی اور آج وہ معصوم بچی ذہنی طور پر ٹوٹی ہوئی، بے جان، اپنے باپ کے گھر میں آخری سانسیں لے رہی ہے۔ اس کی حالت اس حقیقت پر مہر ثبت کرتی ہے کہ یہ مافیا صرف کمیشن ہی نہیں لیتا بلکہ پورے خاندان کی زندگیاں برباد کر دیتا ہے۔
یہ سارے معاملے چیخ رہے ہیں کہ گلگت بلتستان میں رشتوں کے نام پر ایک منظم کاروبار جاری ہے جہاں دلال صرف چند لاکھ کے کمیشن کے عوض بیٹیوں کی قسمت سے کھیلتے ہیں۔ ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ انتظامیہ اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو فوری اور سخت ایکشن لیا جائے، بیرونی رشتوں کی تصدیق کو لازمی قرار دیا جائے اور گاؤں کی سطح پر بڑوں کی مشاورت کے بغیر کسی بھی رشتے کے سودے کو مکمل طور پر ممنوع قرار دیا جائے۔
