DỰ ÁN KTG INDUSTRIAL YÊN PHONG 2C – GIAI ĐOẠN 1 CHÍNH THỨC KHỞI CÔNG

Thứ năm, ngày 09 tháng 12 năm 2021, tại Khu công nghiệp Yên Phong 2C, xã Tam Giang, huyện Yên Phong, tỉnh Bắc Ninh, KTG Industrial đã chính thức khởi công giai đoạn 1 dự án KTG Industrial Yên Phong 2C. Dự án được quản lý bởi Boustead & KTG Industrial Management (BKIM) – đơn vị phát triển và vận hành dự án được đồng sáng lập bởi Tập đoàn KTG và Boustead Projects.
Dự án KTG Industrial Yên Phong 2C có quy mô 15 ha, được chia làm 2 giai đoạn. Trong đó, giai đoạn 1 có diện tích 8,1 ha gồm 3 khối nhà xưởng xây sẵn với diện tích linh hoạt từ 816 – 6.120 m2 và 2 khối nhà kho liền kề với diện tích từ 2.582 – 20.002 m2
Đây là dự án đầu tiên đánh dấu sự hợp tác trực tiếp giữa Tập đoàn KTG và Boustead Projects Limited – nhà cung cấp các giải pháp bất động sản hàng đầu tại Singapore với nhiều năm kinh nghiệm trong việc phát triển các mô hình khu công nghiệp thông minh, bền vững và thân thiện với môi trường. Hai đơn vị đã đồng hành ngay trong những bước đầu từ tìm kiếm, thâu tóm quỹ đất, phát triển dự án và sẽ tiếp tục hợp tác xuyên suốt quá trình vận hành, cho thuê.
Dự kiến dự án sẽ bàn giao vào quý 03/2022, hứa hẹn thu hút các nhà đầu tư trong và ngoài nước, đóng góp vào sự phát triển của huyện Yên Phong nói riêng và tỉnh Bắc Ninh nói chung.

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF KTG INDUSTRIAL YEN PHONG 2C INDUSTRIAL PARK – PHASE 1

On Thursday, December 9th, 2021, in Yen Phong 2C Industrial Park, Tam Giang Commune, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province. KTG Industrial has officially started construction on Phase 1 of KTG Industrial Yen Phong 2C. The project will be operated by Boustead & KTG Industrial Management (BKIM) – an asset development and management company jointly established by KTG & Boustead Projects.

The land size of KTG Industrial Yen Phong 2C project is 150,000 sqm, which will be split into 2 phases. Phase 1 is 81,000 sqm, with 3 blocks of ready built factory with flexible area from 816 – 6,120 sqm; and 2 blocks of ready built warehouse with flexible unit division from 2,582 – 20,002 sqm.

This is the first ever project that witnessed the direct cooperation between KTG and Boustead Projects Limited – a leading real estate solution provider in Singapore with a strong track record in smart, sustainable and ecofriendly developments. Both sides collaborated all the way from the start; from sourcing, to acquiring, to developing the project and will continue to cooperate to manage and lease out the project.

The project’s tentative handover is in Quarter 03/2022, which promises to attract domestic and foreign direct investment, contributing to the development of Yen Phong District and Bac Ninh Province.

[Investment news] New law on investment in Vietnam📑

👉The new Law on Investment maintains the fundamental principle that domestic and foreign investors can continue to carry out investment in industries and trades which are not prohibited. In that connection, the new Law on Investment reduces to 22 the conditional sectors. For the conditional sectors, investors are required to meet specific statutory conditions.

👉The new Law on Investment also includes greater transparency; for example, it provides specific timelines for competent authorities to review and approve investment dossiers of the investors, principles and conditions applicable to land use rights auctions, and bidding for projects.

👉It also clarifies regulations which have been unclear and/or have caused difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, such as certain regulations on procedures, capital, and onshore and offshore activities.

👉Although there were suggestions to abolish the requirement that a foreign investor has a project and obtains an investment registration certificate (IRC) before it could establish an enterprise to carry out the project, the new Law on Investment retains the IRC requirement.

👉For the first time, the new Law on Investment will allow certain foreign investors to form a company without first obtaining an IRC. Small or medium-sized innovative startup companies or investment funds will benefit. These new provisions are expected to create a favorable legal mechanism for foreign investors to set up innovative startup businesses in fintech, shared technology businesses, and other creative startup projects.

[Investment news] 🏗💻 A Vietnamese perspective on the evolution of Industry 4.0

Acknowledging the importance of Industry 4.0, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) made its own initiative in proposing the need of a national strategy, and collaborated with international and domestic consultants to come up with a draft strategy last year.

🔑 The current draft of the National Strategy for the Fourth Industrial Revolution contains six important solutions. They are heightening the quality of institutionalization and capacity for policy formulation; developing infrastructure for interconnection and database usage; human resource development; developing e-government and digital government in the long term; enhancing national innovation capability; and investing in selected technologies for Industry 4.0.

The draft strategy also set out for all line ministries some general and important tasks such as:
✨ Developing plans for digital transformation in different sectors;
✨ Developing e-government and digitalised public services delivery;
✨ Public service delivery agencies and affiliated enterprises utilising technology application in service provision;
✨ Reviewing current regulatory frameworks to enable a business environment conducive for new economy models;
✨ Restructuring science and technology units;
✨ Researching potentialities of Industry 4.0-specific technologies;
✨ Instructing state-invested enterprises to research, apply, and invest in Industry 4.0 applications; and
✨ Developing and implementing a public-funded business support programme in technology transfer for Industry 4.0.

[Investment news] Apple actions highlight diversification

As manufacturer of Apple’s AirPod earphones, Goertek Vina Co., Ltd. in the northern province of Bac Ninh has been in a hurry to recruit 10,000 labourers, including manual workers, office staff, and managers with an offered maximum salary of VND25 million ($1,100) per month for management positions to serve operation of a new manufacturing facility. The interview period is taking place from the end of April until the end of this month.

Along with Goertek, other Apple vendors have also taken root in Vietnam, in service of the giant’s production. For example, AirPod assembler Inventec is currently building a plant in Vietnam. Merry Electronics, Apple’s acoustic component supplier, is also reportedly collaborating with Luxshare to prepare a facility in Vietnam. The company said its operations will begin this summer.

Global companies will prefer markets benefiting their sales revenues, which may be one of the main reasons behind Apple relocating its manufacturing lines of AirPods in Vietnam, which has previously been in favour of iPhones. Moreover, the local preference on the other Apple products is quite impressive.

[Healthcare] Updated news about Covid-19 in Vietnam

Since there have been no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Việt Nam for a whole week, social distancing measures is loosened in Hà Nội and HCM City from 23/04/2020. Some nonessential services are be allowed to reopen. For now, Vietnam will continue to suspend receiving foreign visitors.

[Healthcare] Vietnam to extend social distancing order until 22/04 for HCMC and Hanoi

Today, The Prime Minister has approved the proposal of the National Steering Committee for Prevention of Covid-19, social distancing will extend until April 22 for Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and 10 provinces under high risk of spread.

"This group of provinces and cities may change. Next week the Government will meet and review the social isolation which may last until April 22, or April 30 depending on the actual situation. ", Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan P**c said at an online meeting with 63 provinces on prevention of Covid-19, afternoon of 15/4.

Earlier, the Standing Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long proposed that the Government divides the provinces into three groups to take appropriate disease prevention methods.

High-risk group include 12 provinces: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh, Ha Tinh.

15 provinces and cities that are under the potential risk group are: Binh Duong, Can Tho, D**g Nai, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Soc Trang, Lang Son, An Giang, Binh Phuoc and D**g Thap.

The remaining provinces are at low risk
