DISCOVER THE FAMOUST BRIDGE IN VIETNAM – Part 1:
Swing Bridge Across the Han River – Da Nang:
Many tourists come here just to see the bridge automatically rotate. At around 1am, the middle part of the bridge will split in half, the bridge girder will rotate 90 degrees around the axis and then lie along the flow of the Han River to open the way for large ships to pass. About 4 hours later, the bridge will rotate back to its original state to serve traffic on the bridge. This is the first and only cable-stayed bridge in our country.
Dragon Bridge Across the Han River – Da Nang
Dragon Bridge is the bridge with the most unique architecture in Vietnam, the shortest road connecting Da Nang International Airport with the main roads in the city. For tourists to Da Nang, along with learning about the history of the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang, watching the Dragon Bridge breathe fire is one of the most exciting moments. Long Bien Bridge
Long Bien Bridge crosses the Red River, one of the oldest bridges, closely associated with the history of Hanoi. This bridge is more than 2000m long and is a “witness” to the brutal war in the North with the American empire. Although damaged many times, Long Bien Bridge still stands tall and proud, like the strength and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people.
Thi Nai Bridge:
When mentioning the top 10 most beautiful bridges in Vietnam, we cannot help but mention Thi Nai Bridge, which connects Phuong Mai Peninsula and Quy Nhon City. The main part of the bridge alone is nearly 2,500m long, with a total length of nearly 7,000m. Thi Nai Bridge is also known as one of the longest bridges in our country.
Thi Nai Bridge attracts with its romantic, gentle beauty at sunset or sunrise. Running along the bridge, leaving the afternoon light behind, welcoming the cool breeze is an interesting experience you should try.
