Located just outside San Vito, Costa Rica your private paradise surrounded by jungle and pastured hills imagine yourself sipping fresh local coffee as the sun rises. The 2.5 ac finca (small farm) 500mt from the main road into town, the bus stops at the corner every hour. After passing thru the front gates your are in a garden of lush tropical plants, exotic birds and butterflies. The 250sq ft casita is well equipped for the adventurous guest, with two twin beds , writing desk , small kitchen and bathroom. The large rancho has built in couches, outdoor sink, table and hooks for hammocks. It is a great spot for morning exercises or just relaxing with a good book listening to the sounds of nature all around. There are maintained trails in the jungle adjacent to the house and abundant banana trees as well as other fruit trees on the property.
At an elevation of 3000 ft the year round temp is 65-85 degrees making for a very comfortable climate. The town of San Vito was established by Italian immigrants and pizza is readily available in the many restaurants and bakeries in town.
San Vito is home to Wilson Botanical Gardens a research and bird watching center. In less than 2 hours you can be at the beach or in the primary forest of La Amistad where jaguars and quetzels can still be seen, or you may like to visit Panama.
