A spring Sunday in Agnes Water and 1770, start to finish.
6:30am. Surf at Main Beach. Queensland's northernmost surf beach, and at this hour you will have most of it to yourself.
9:00am. The markets at the SES Grounds. Local artisans, fresh produce and something good to eat. Worth a wander even if you are not buying.
1:00pm. Lunch at Surgo in Endeavour Plaza. Sharing plates, good drinks, happy hour daily from three until five, and live music some afternoons if you time it right.
3:30pm. The headland walk at Joseph Banks Conservation Park. Ocean on one side, estuary on the other, and magnificent views north across Eurimbula National Park to Bustard Head and Rodds Peninsula.
Then home, salty and tired, which is the whole point of a weekend down here.
Spring is our favourite stretch of the year. Warm days, quiet beaches, and the school holidays still a week away.
If that sounds like your kind of Sunday, get in touch and we will find you somewhere to stay.

PS. Markets are on every 2nd & 4th Sunday, as well as school holidays - best place to see if they're on is https://rotarydiscoverycoast.org.au/markets/calendar
