STOP and Breathe If you are missing your Dad on Father’s Day. 🥺

My heart is balancing a heavy mix of deep heartache and incredible pride. This time of year is a gauntlet—holding my dad’s birthday, Father’s Day, and the upcoming anniversary of the day he left us.

The hardest part of these past four years is how much life has kept moving without him here to see it. He missed meeting his first great-granddaughter by just three weeks. Then, only three weeks after her, his great-grandson was born. In four short years, that beautiful legacy has grown to five great-grandchildren in total to date, with Bobby’s second son arriving this July. 6 great grandchild in 4 years!

He missed meeting them all here on earth, and it breaks my heart that they don’t get to experience his love, his hugs, and his wisdom firsthand. But I know he is watching over every single one of them from above.

Happy Father’s Day in Heaven to the man who taught me everything! Your love lives on in all of us. 🏛️❤️🌈

But while this stunning build is on the water, a massive construction boom is happening everywhere right now. It begs the question: When is it finally going to slow down?

The short answer? It probably won’t anytime soon. Here’s the 2026 market plot twist:

Because so many homeowners are locked into low mortgage rates from years ago, they aren’t selling. To bridge that massive housing shortage, builders have stepped up big time.

With builder incentives and rate buydowns, the price gap between a brand-new build and an older home is narrower than it’s been in years. In some neighborhoods, buying new actually makes more financial sense than buying a resale that needs a total renovation.

Truth is …. It’s about relationships!🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

It’s the late night phone calls, the nervous 1st time buyers, the happy tears at the closing table, the friendships that last long after the keys are handed over 🌈 🗝️

Years later, it’s not about the square footage I remember; it’s the friendships, the hugs, the laughs and moments like these!

Because the best relationships aren’t built in a house; they’re built through the journey of finding one! 🤗❤️🏠🔑
