Construction is moving forward at Cypress at Ardendale Senior, the second phase of Cypress at Ardendale. 🚧

This independent living senior community is the next step toward building an accessible, connected, and thriving neighborhood through HUD’s Choice Neighborhoods Initiative.

After Phase I delivered 170 homes, this senior phase continues the multi-phase work to redevelop Ardendale into a modern, mixed-income, intergenerational neighborhood centered on opportunity, wellness, and connection. Two additional multifamily phases are anticipated for delivery.

Baton Roots and Baton Rouge Green planted 29 new trees at our Roosevelt Terrace community, adding simple touches that make the space feel even more welcoming. 🌳

Next Tuesday, November 18th, from 9 AM–2 PM, our friends from Walls Project and Baton Rouge Green will join us to plant beautiful shade and fruit trees around the community!

Families are encouraged to come out, lend a hand, and be part of making Roosevelt Terrace greener and even more vibrant. 🌿
