I have been in real estate since 2018 and property management since 2022. I'll give this bit of wisdom: HVAC contractors are a lot like realtors: they think they are special, but there are a lot of them that do the same thing and they are both great at blowing hot air.
That said, if you need to know who to spend your money on, it's electricians and plumbers.
