Why buy while rates are so high?
Many people are waiting for rates to drop. When they do drop (many experts believe likely later part of 2024) the demand will skyrocket. This will cause multiple bids again. On top of that over time the values have increased. There are options to buy now with a 2-1 plan that will give you 2% off your rate in year one and 1% off in year two. When rates drop you will be able to refi.

Rates are high, but can be refinanced. House values will continue to rise and when rates drop, likely increase quickly (maybe even go back to bidding wars). Today is a great day to buy a home for someone who is thinking they will wait till rates drop. Would love to get to discuss it with your friends and family who want a home someday soon.

Based on fed communication rates will stay steady to rise between now and likely mid way through 2024. Good news is when rates come down they can be refinanced.

House values continue to rise. If you or your friends are considering buying, buy now. Refi later.
