Nick has had a farm for 6 years, a farmstand for 3, and he’s been selling pickles for the last 2, along with sourdough, honey, produce and various other local food products. 🥖 🍯 🥒

After 2 years, the county decided the cucumbers could no longer be grown, processed in a commercial facility, and sold at Freedom Farms French Valley with their existing permit. ❌

However, Riverside County waste, fraud, abuse, and incompetence is highlighted right outside of Nick’s farm by the failed $1.6M failed Butterfield Stage extension. ❌

Maybe government employees should focus on their jobs before they prevent us from doing ours.

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors is corrupt. Period. They oversee approximately 48 county services and they are about to FAFO.

We did some digging of our own with the help of Eric Stalter and the Civil Review Board.

People are tired of this crap. 💩 😡 🇺🇸

The Riverside County Health Department is responsible for approx 27% of the county budget.

In 2025 their budget was $2.9BN for Health and Hospital Services. They have 9,561 employees of 27,000 RIVCO employees.

That’s 35% of the people employed by the county and they are all paid with your tax dollars. 💰

Nick Steeneken has decided instead of making phone calls, he’s going to run for Riverside County Supervisor in Area 3, which includes French Valley.

He doesn’t want to sell his farm, leave generations of his family behind, and go to a more free state. He wants Californians to stick around.

I’ve been trying to avoid politics since losing in the midterms and in my first interview out the door, I get a surprise announcement.

Life is full of too many gatekeepers. Gatekeeping local spots, clubs, and restaurants. So, I’m highlighting what they’re gatekeeping.

This is how local businesses, communities, and people thrive. We all feel isolated and disconnected. Let’s water the grass in our area and get out in the community again. Let’s support one another.

We shouldn’t have to leave California to be successful, to find your people, to find the places you belong, in the community we love, with so many wonderful people right here…

🚨 🥒 RIVCO Screws Local Farmer!! 👨‍🌾 🚨

French Valley Farmer no longer allowed to sale pickles directly to the public after 2 years of being allowed to sale them at his farm stand.

Haven’t we had enough?

Save the pickles!!! 🥒

Danks Delights Pickles are grown locally at Freedom Farms French Valley. They have become a local favorite… with hand painted signs along Pourroy Rd.

What happened?

Unfortunately, Riverside County politicians think they own us, our land, and our businesses. It’s time to remind them they work for us…

Step One: Support these local businesses.

Danks Delights Pickles are sold in Organic Roots Temecula, Mae’s Market Boutique, Quail Old Town, The Gambling Cowboy, Old Town Deli Temecula, and Leaven and Hearth.

Step Two: Contact RIVCO Health Department.

Demand Riverside County continue to allow Freedom Farms to sell “Danks Delights Pickles” where they are grown, and rejoin 6 local businesses already selling the same pickles.

Step Three: Consider Running for Office.

Nick Steeneken decided he’s had enough. He makes a huge, surprise announcement during our interview… I was shocked. 😮 🚨 🇺🇸

Drive down Pourroy Rd on your way to drop off the kids at Bella Vista Middle School, or Los Alamos Elementary, and you see handmade signs for Freedom Farms French Valley… 👩‍🌾 🍯 🥖 🇺🇸

We went by to check out the local produce, honey, sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, and more…

We were fortunate enough to break bread with Nick, the owner, and he showed us around the farm. I picked up some Jalapeño and Cheese Sourdough. It’s amazing… 🤩 🌶️ 😋
